Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is widely recognized as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and the role of children in witnessing. Prof. Goodman has published widely she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with many international and national awards. She has advised numerous administrations and agencies across the world about policies and studies pertaining to child victims of the law by the system. She is a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding member) International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
