Anika Rose, born in the year 2000 is an American singer and actress. Her most well-known character is Tiana the first Disney African American princess. Disney Legends identified her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose is most well-known for her role as Lorrell Robinson, the character from Dreamgirls. Anika Noni (born June 6th in 1972) is a vocalist and American actress. She is best known for the role in the role of Tiana In The Princess and the Frog as the very first African American Disney Princess. She was named a Disney Legend in the year 2011. Her name was also honoured for her role on the screen in Dreamgirls (2006) that was awarded an Academy Award for Best Picture. In the Starz show Power she was the character LaVerne Jukebox Ganner. She has also been recognized by her stage performances including her leading parts in Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway in which she received the Tony Award was won for Best actor in musical.
