Adult's biological meaning means an animal with the capacity to reproduce. Adult is a term applied to humans to mean social and legal concepts. Legal adults is, as opposed to "minors" (also known as non-adults) can be defined as someone of the majority age and thus considered to be independent, responsible and independent. An adult who is legally mature can be called a major. The age of 18 is the standard legal age for adulthood but this could vary based on the country of origin and the status of the law and also mental maturity.

If a person attains full physical and intellectual maturity, it is referred to as adulthood. Adulthood, as typically understood, is at the age of around 20 or 21. After middle age (starting at around 40) then comes old age (around the age of 60). The adulthood process is split into three phases beginning with early adulthood (18-mid-30s) and mid-30s to mid-60s and the final stage of adulthood, mid-60s to death. By the time we reach an early age (20 to mid-40s), our physical maturation is completed, though our height and weight might increase slightly. As we grow older, we are at the top of our physical abilities.
